High Protein Oats Recipe For Shredding

Sick of boring old oats? Well I'm here to make your mornings a hell of lot brighter caramelised vanilla, banana and berry BLAST 'Shredmeal!'

Yes this recipe contains CARBS however, one of the best times to consume carbs is in the morning, right after you wake up. Overnight, while you sleep, your body fasts and goes through carbohydrates that it stores away, also known as glycogen. When you eat carbs first thing in the morning, your body uses these carbs to replenish what you lost over night, rather than storying them as fat.

Always remember to also consume protein in the morning a long with your carbs! So add a scoop of Shred System (or 100% Whey) and you will be well on your whey ๐Ÿ˜‚

Overnight oats - Put in the fridge the night before and let it soak in all the goodness

What you need:

  • 3/4 cup of oats or toasted muesli
  • 1 scoop of vanilla MAXS Shred System
  • 1/2 cup of mixed berries
  • 1/2 a banana sliced
  • 170grams fat free Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon crushed mixed nuts
  • Touch of maple syrup

Mix it all up and your good to go! Or you can be impatient like me and just eat how it is ๐Ÿ’
