About Ali

Born and raised in the Middle East, originally from Pakistan, I was always a book worm and loved reading and writing. My father is a successful business man and always wanted me to go further with my education. I started taking interest in sports at the age of 11 and every sport I’d participate in I would work my way up to the top. At the age of 15, when I moved to high school, I weighed 47kgs and often got bullied and picked on by everyone which brought down my confidence and mentally disturbed me. One of my mates had recently joined a gym and I could see a bit of results in him. That actually made me think if I joined a gym I would eventually get something out of it too. I took my dad to pay for my gym membership and the best thing he did was pay for the yearly membership which meant I had to go to the gym.

Two months into gym I started getting taunted by the local meat heads and was often laughed at so I would move to the corner and use the lightest of the weights. Now at this stage I left all the sports and gym became my new passion and love. Two years later, in the same gym, I would walk around with confidence. In 2010, I moved to Pakistan for a year where I took the step and competed in my first bodybuilding competition, placing first.

In 2012, I moved to Melbourne, Australia where I continued my passion. I completed my personal training certification and am continuing my diploma and advance diploma in fitness, and planning to do my bachelors later on. I did my first competition in Australia at the very first Arnold Classic with only a short three weeks of prep where I didn’t place, but after every following year the placing just got better. I plan on getting my pro card and one day fulfil my dream of jumping on the Olympia stage.

I have inspired many youngsters from my country to start their fitness journey and to achieve what they believe isn't possible , i was contacted by one of the biggest news channel and had an interview for the article published in 2016
